Tasmania United FC today asked for continuing understanding and patience from all parties with regard to the progress of the A-League bid.
TUFC understands that the feasibility study document will be with government very soon, and that preliminary indications from that study are very positive.
Despite the misinterpretation of comments made by FFA Chairman Frank Lowy to the National Press Club Luncheon earlier this week, FFA CEO Ben Buckley has confirmed current expansion plans for the A-League include fourteen teams in the foreseeable future (See Ray Gatts article in 'The Australian' June 17 and others).
Mr. Brad Paatsch, principle consultant for Stratcorp, the company responsible for the completion of the feasibility study, has been in regular contact with A-League Manager Archie Fraser on behalf of the task force.
TUFC will be moving for the completion of the business case (more essential documentation requested by the FFA) as soon as possible.
TUFC again thank all there loyal supporters, be they fans, business associates, investors, the Tasmanian State government for their continuing encouragement.
