Partners

As with any professional sporting organisation, mutually beneficial partnerships with a sound commercial basis will be a key element of the prospects for success of a Tasmanian A-League team.

Should Tasmania United FC submit a successful application for an A-League licence, a wide range of commercial opportunities will be available to strategic partners across a range of categories including:

• Clothing

• Equipment

• Financial Services

• Food and Beverages

• Health and Nutrition

• Media

• Gaming and Wagering

• Communcations

• Travel and Accommodation

• Transport and Logistics

• Construction

• Event Management

• Consumer Goods

Many of the above categories also include sub-categories. For example, transport includes airline travel, sea travel and motor vehicles.

As a commercial partner of a Tasmanian A-League team, businesses would receive high level exposure to a National audience and, to a lesser extent, international audience.

Perhaps more importantly, commercial partners would be strongly encouraged to develop relationships with the Tasmanian football community through association with the A-League team.

Of course, the A-League team itself will be a significant consumer of a range of products and services and, wherever possible, would prefer to utilise Tasmanian suppliers to meet these needs.

During the feasibility study and licence application process, the A-League Taskforce will actively seek to engage with the Tasmanian community through marketing communications programs, public relations and market research.

This presents an opportunity for Tasmanian businesses to demonstrate their support for the proposed A-League during the assessment and proposal stage as a Foundation Partner and, through that relationship, to engage with a receptive and enthusiastic audience.
