Today's penalty shootout on Parliament House Lawns saw football the big winner.

State Attorney General Brian Wightman, Liberal leader Will Hodgman, and Tasmanian Greens leader
Nick McKim tested NTC 'keeper Mikayla Wedge. Ms Wedge performed well, despite Will Hodgman's "ring-in" David Clarkson testing her skills to the max. Referee Eli Luttmer controlled things well.

Football Federation Tasmania's contribution towards the success of today's event bodes well for the future of world football here in Tasmania.
