Mission

Tasmania United Football Club (hereafter “The Club”) aims to:

• Provide a safe and positive environment in which to further the promotion of the game of Association Football within Tasmania;
• Faithfully represent the Tasmanian community in the Hyundai A-League national football competition;
• Develop and maintain a successful, sustainable, accessible and inclusive elite level sports institution;
• Develop and maintain successful youth and female football institutions;
• Provide every reasonable opportunity to promote the identification, recruitment and development of Tasmanian born or resident football players and coaches.

General

The Club recognises and demands that all staff (permanent, temporary, casual and voluntary) conduct themselves in accordance with the highest ethical standards.

The Club resolves to deliver to its stakeholders, supporters and staff, a product worthy of its status as a member of the elite football league in Australia.

Accessibility

The Club recognises and supports the contributions of all stakeholders, supporters and staff and resolves to treat all fairly and equitably.

The Club will make every effort to conduct its business in a transparent and accessible way for its stakeholders, supporters and staff.

The Club will make every effort to provide suitable transport arrangements to facilitate supporters throughout the State in attending home matches.

The Club will make every effort to assist supporters wishing to travel to interstate matches in making their arrangements.

The Club will offer season tickets (covering all home league matches) during a limited time during pre-season at preferential rates.

Concessionary rates will apply for senior citizens and for boys and girls aged under 11 years.

Ticket prices and arrangements for all matches will be published as early as practicable on the official website (and in the media and/or matchday programmes where possible).

For cup matches, season ticket holders will receive the first option to purchase tickets, before they are made available to other supporters.

If supporters have any special requirements, they should be made known to The Club at least two working days before a match so that they may be suitably accommodated.

The Club will not charge admission prices to supporters of visiting clubs higher than those charged to its own supporters for comparable accommodation.

Communication and Customer Service

The Club is committed to responding to any reasonable representation made to it by a customer within five working days.

The Club resolves to supply information regularly to its supporters through the club website, newsletters, media releases and fans forums.

The Club will offer refunds on merchandise in accordance with its legal obligations.

Replica home and away strips will normally have a minimum life span of two seasons.

Complaints should be made in the first instance, in writing, to The Club, via the channels directed to on the website or in any matchday programme.

The Club resolves to listen to any complaint, criticism or request made by stakeholders, supporters or staff and make every effort to facilitate a fair and mutually acceptable outcome.

Community Activity

The Club respects its position within the Tasmanian community and recognises the important role it can play in supporting local community activity.  The Club resolves to become involved in the following activities:

• Supporting local charities;
• Organising football camps, training schools and similar related activities throughout Tasmania;
• Conducting first team training sessions at various locations throughout the State;
• Facilitating a degree of rotation between venues in the north and south of the State to stage first team,  youth and women's matches;
• Engaging playing and coaching staff in visits to local charities, schools and hospitals on a continual basis;
• Provision of support to local and junior football teams, competitions and supporters;
• Supporting the aims of Anti-Racism initiatives and campaigns to tackle problems of racism in football;
• Recognition of and commitment to ensuring the highest levels of ethical behaviour, non-discrimination and equal opportunity for all staff and supporters;
• Maintaining the highest attainable standards of crowd safety and supporter accommodation;
• Promoting the facilitation of families as a priority at all matches;
• Offering a membership scheme that encompasses all supporters, regardless of age, sex, size, race, colour, nationality, religion, disability, location, income or sexual orientation.
