I'm an ex-tassie boy living in Brisbane now. I used to play with Norther Rangers a few years ago. I go to most of the games up here, so I'll be there!

Sounds great!  As you can imagine "Football (soccer) fans, from Tasmania, living in Brisbane" is a very specific group of people ... I'm amazed I actually found one of you on here :)

Do you mind either passing on your email address or joining the event on facebook (if you use facebook) - http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=138316386201852 - obviously it will be a small group so will co-ordinate things closer to the time  Do you think you'll be able to attend both matches?

As an ex-Novocastrian I am hoping to get to some of the Jets games in Melbourne. Although I'll probably sit with the Jets fans I'd be up for doing something Tassie related

I am going to Melbourne vs Sydney and Melbourne vs Perth on the 7th and 14th of August so I’m sorry but I don’t think I can make this one. I would have loved to come, especially the Gold Coast vs Melbourne Victory game but unless I can get really cheap flights I won’t be able to make it. Down the track we will defiantly try and come to a few, I hope we can get a few travelling supporters.

Also make sure you go onto the Roar and GGU forums like you said but also try the Wellington and Melbourne Victory ones to.

Hey Chuq - have you had any luck talking to people on any of the other forums about this trip? I'm sorry that I couldn't come, I would have loved to watch Gold Coast vs Melbourne Victory! I hope you can find some people to join you and even some poeple from Tasmania might join you hopefully

I'm waiting for the next Tottenham visit to OZ before I go back to the mainland. No seriosly though I will be hoping to get to a Melbourne fixture sometime during the season - that is about all i can front up for in smackaroos at present.
