What would we want Melbourne Victory again for. Heart would be a good change.  New team, new coach, new players, new tactics. I think I might suggest it to them.

Just sent Heart the following enquiry via their website;

Just wondering whether you would consider a preseason game in Launceston. Victory have had one here for the last 4 years or so with crowds of 6-8,000. Some of us would like a change from Victory v Adelaide. Maybe you could get Westpac onside and also try and sell interstate memberships something that Victory has been too complacent to be bothered with.

Maybe someone else could suggest Hobart and Bellerive. I would travel down.

I am rather ambivalent as to where it is played although it would be nice to have a Hobart match now and then. What I do despise is the FFT who are so full of inertia that they would never ever make it across a railway track without being run down. They seem to lack any vision whatsoever. Talking up all possibilities and scenarios should be forthcoming every week to generate public interest in the media. It does not matter whether it will come to fruition but get it out in the ether so people are talking about the code - potential new customers I mean. Not one week should go by without a media release by either TUFC or FFT about Tassie and the A League if we want a national future. I feel like wacking someone with a ball pein hammer, blowing a horn or ringing a bell to wake them from their slumber!

Agree ntguy. I think Heart would be great to come down to Tassie; a lot of appeal with the players already in their squad. I'll add my support to that on their web-site also.

I think at this next pre-season game we need to do something big to really put Tasmania United into the public. I would also love to see Melbourne Victory play down here again!
