This is not really a new discussion, just a bit of info to let everyone know that One HD is to start showing a weekly news and highlights show (early Feb) on the A League and it will also include a full wrap up of the major leagues from around the world. I can only assume that when the A League finishes it will be world football until the A League resumes in Oct. Hopefully it will also give coverage of the pre season games, transfers & recruits running into the new seasons.

Also heard that there is a possibility that One HD & Fox could do a deal along the lines of the AFL (Seven, Ten & Fox) media deal, show games across both networks. This is what the A League needs to grow any further, getting games on free to air is the only way the world game can go on to be a true force on the Australian sporting landscape. Getting widespread coverage once every four (4) years will not grow our sport.

Maybe TUFC Admin could contact One HD regarding our bid. Thankfully SBS have the rights to the World Cup Finals, so evryone will be able to watch the Socceroo's in Sth Africa.
