I believe that once the business case is presented it will be time to start looking at getting some on-field advertising in action. Encouraging current tasmanian clubs to have large placards at their ovals. Discussions with acadamy youngsters about Tasmania's future in the sport. This is a two-fold thing. Firstly it provides a visible presence to the club throughout Tasmania. Secondly it begins to raise a generation of young players and future leaders with a 'it's possible' mentality instead of the present 'wouldn't it be nice' or 'if only' mentality. What about the idea of pre-licence friendly matches after we start to get some finances together with the states best four or five plus a few young lads from around the nation and maybe some older experienced heads who have retired from playing overseas. Two or three such games before an A-League season could provide some good promotion. Add comments |
